On a dreamy LA rooftop, River contemplates their dating experiences as an intersex, non-binary person. This film kicked off our ‘A Letter From’ series in 2020, with River and Seven Graham coming onboard as executive producers for the subsequent films. 

Using stunning visuals and spoken word, River examines the power of authenticity and explores how to establish strong foundations of honesty and respect.

River Gallo is a GLAAD award-winning Salvadoran-American filmmaker, actor, writer, model and intersex advocate. Their film ‘Ponyboi’, which they wrote, directed, and starred in, is the first narrative film created by and starring an openly intersex person in cinema history.
