How verification works

You need to take a live photo to get verified. You can’t use a photo from your gallery.

This photo will never be added to your profile or seen by other people on Badoo.

We combine artificial intelligence with our human moderators to match your live photo with the photos on your profile. This helps us confirm it’s you and that you’re a real person. We also do this to verify that you’re over 18.

If everything looks good, our team will approve your photo and let you know.

Finally, you’ll get a blue tick on your profile that proves you’re real.
