They say that a picture is worth a thousand words...but we think that videos can be an even better way to express yourself. That’s why Badoo is launching Clips - a new feature that lets you show your personality with ease, by recording answers to fun questions. You can add your clips to your Badoo profile, allowing potential matches to get to know you a little better and to discover the real you. Clips also makes it easier to get a sense of potential matches’ personalities, so you can decide if they’re someone you could see an exciting connection with!
What type of questions can I answer?
Don't worry, Clips doesn’t include the usual questions like ‘what do you do for work?’ or ‘where do you live?.’ Clips enables you to answer a series of fun, thought-provoking questions so that your matches can get to know you even better. Here’s an example of some of the prompts:
Which celebrity would most want to date you?
Always had a crush on Harry Styles and think your guitar-playing skills could have him swooning?
Do you have any tattoos with a story?
The perfect opportunity to show off your ink!
What would you do in the zombie apocalypse?
Are you hiding in the cupboard or fighting back? Tell people your master plan.
How can I create Clips?
- Open the Badoo app
- On your profile, switch from Camera to the Clips toggle
- Tap on the dice to flick through questions and choose one to answer
- Record your selfie video by tapping and holding the record button
- Preview your masterpiece, then delete or upload
- Good news - you can add up to 6 Clips at a time!
How can I view other people’s Clips?
Clips allow you to view the unfiltered personalities of people on Badoo, helping you to get to know the real them. Plus, seeing them in 3D eases any catfishing worries! Other people’s Clips are shown on their profile – you’ll be able to see a thumbnail of the Clip and the duration of the video. You can tap the Clip to view the next one.
As always, safety comes first. All Clips need to follow Badoo’s community guidelines, so if you spot something that doesn’t look right, we encourage you to block the profile and report it to us.
