TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE BADOO X OLIVIA DODD GIVEAWAY (“OFFICIAL RULES”)

The promoter of this giveaway is Badoo Trading Limited of 1 Blossom Yard, Fourth Floor, London E1 6RS and with company number 7540255 (“Promoter”). The following terms and conditions apply to the “Badoo x Olivia Dodd Giveaway” (“Giveaway”).

1. The Giveaway will run from 10:00 am GMT on 1st October 2024 (“Opening Date”) to 10:00 am GMT on 30th October 2024 inclusive (“Closing Date”).
2. The Giveaway is open to members of the public, aged 18 years or over who are legal residents of the United Kingdom (“Entrants”). Employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Giveaway are not eligible to enter the Giveaway.
3. The Giveaway is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
4. To enter, Entrants must participate in an event held by Badoo in London where a poet will write poems for members of the public. Entrants must (a) have a poem written by the poet about an embarrassing dating moment, and (b) share a photo of their poem on social media (Instagram or TikTok) and tag @badoo (“Submission”).
5. You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, reshare your Submission on its own social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok). You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the Submission and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Submission and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
6. Entrants may not submit more than one Submission for the Giveaway.
7. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, there shall be one (1) winner randomly selected from among all qualifying Entrants after the Closing Date (the “Prize Winner”). The Prize Winner shall be selected on 1st November 2024 and Promoter shall thereafter attempt to contact the Prize Winner via the Prize Winner’s social media (as provided within their Submission). If a potential Prize Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond (within 48 hours of attempted notification), the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify such potential Prize Winner and, if time permits, to select the next qualifying potential Prize Winner and attempt to contact same, who shall be subject to the same eligibility requirements and disqualification in the same manner as described in these Official Rules. The Promoter shall not be responsible for failed attempts to notify any potential Prize Winner and no responsibility is assumed by the Promoter for any message(s) or other correspondence returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address or any other problems, omissions or technical malfunctions associated with any platform, network, servers, computer equipment, software, applications, the internet or any combination thereof.
8. The prize for this Giveaway is 1x e-voucher which can be redeemed on https://www.one4all.com/ (the “Prize”). The Winner must provide Badoo with their email address in order to receive the Prize. Each Entrant in the Giveaway shall be eligible to win no more than one Prize. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter disclaims any liability from, and Entrants agree to waive, any claims against the Promoter relating to the awarding process. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate Prize Winner in the event that any potential Prize Winner fails to comply with these Official Rules.
9. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Giveaway, including the Promoter’s interpretation of these Official Rules, is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
10. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Giveaway at its sole discretion.
12. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected. The Prize restrictions and conditions set forth herein are not exhaustive and additional restrictions and conditions may apply, and the Promoter makes no representations or warranties (express or implied) concerning the appearance, safety, features, usage, accuracy or performance of any Prize. The Promoter shall not be liable for nor replace any lost, stolen, damaged or malfunctioning element of any Prize.
13. In order to redeem the Prize, the Winner must use the e-voucher on One4All’s website, which is subject to One4All’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.
14. The Promoter will process your personal information as set out in Badoo’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on https://badoo.com/privacy#priv... Giveaway is governed by English law and all Entrants to the Giveaway irrevocably agree that the courts located in England have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway and/or these Official Rules.
