What is Badoo? What do I do here? Where am I? We will tackle all these deep questions in this section.

  1. What is Badoo?
    One way to describe Badoo is that it's a place to chat, upload photos and videos, and promote your life. Another way, which we think describes Badoo best, is that it's a community of interesting people locally and from all over the world, ready to share their experiences, interests, and friendship. We've taken the usually static world of socializing online and brought it to life. So whether you want to chat, share photos and videos, keep in touch with friends, tell others about yourself or just get more attention, you're sure to find plenty of people waiting for you on Badoo.
  2. Any rules?
    Just a few! Any content you upload must comply with our decency policy and not violate any copyrights. Any pornographic or otherwise offensive material will be deleted and may result in the suspension of your account. To find out more, read through the Community Guidelines, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
  3. How much does it cost?
    Nothing. Nada. Diddly squat. You can register, create a profile, upload unlimited photos/videos, and meet and chat with people for free.
  4. How do I register?
    Simply click on the Become a member link here or at the top of the main page and follow the instructions. You will need a valid email address in order to complete the registration process.

Settings

One of the most important factors in enjoying your time here on Badoo, is having your account set up just how you like it. So you might want to tweak it a bit, and that's what we'll explain in this section.

  1. How do I sign in?
    You need to click on the Sign in link at the top right of the main page. Then enter your email address and password and click the “Let me in!” button.
  2. What is my login?
    Your login is the email address that you used when you registered with Badoo, and you can also use the beginning of your personal address (e.g.: xxxxx.badoo.com) to login.
  3. I've forgotten my password. What do I do?
    No big deal. Just click on the Forgot your password? link on the Sign in page and follow the instructions.
  4. How do I change my password?
    To change your password, go to the Settings page. Then click on Change password on the left. Enter your current password, then type in your new password, retype to confirm it, and click the “Change password” button. You can do this as often as you like.
  5. What are notifications by email?
    Notifications by email are messages sent to your email address that alert you when you receive either “New messages and comments”, “Gifts and Mega Ratings”, or have been tagged in a photo while offline.
  6. Can I stop receiving notifications about my contacts' activities on Badoo?
    Of course, just go to Settings page and click “Edit” next to the “Email” section. Turn off any notifications you do not wish to receive.
  7. I have a new email address. How do I update this on my Badoo account?
    Go to your Settings page, and click on the Change email address link on the left. Enter your current password and then enter your new email address and click the “Send confirmation email” button. Note that you must confirm your new email address by clicking a link in the email message that we will then send to your new address.
  8. How do I choose my profile address?
    Go to your profile page and click the “Choose address” link and follow the instructions. Note: You can only change your profile address once, you can't change it again after you've locked it in.
  9. How do I delete my profile?
    Sign in and go to your Settings page and click the “Delete profile” link on the left. Then follow the instructions.
  10. I deleted my profile, but now I want to have it back. How?
    Glad you decided to come back! To recover your profile you must click on the link in the confirmation email that we sent when you deleted the profile. This link will be valid for only 1 week.
  11. How do I change my gender?
    Go to your profile and click Edit next to “Basic”. Then simply click on the “Oops, I've made a terrible mistake” link by your gender and follow the directions. You can only change your gender once.
  12. What do I do if I don't receive a confirmation email after registering?
    If you registered using a web based email account like Hotmail or Yahoo then please check your trash or junk folder for the confirmation email. If you haven't confirmed your registration within 24 hours then the next time you login to Badoo you will be asked to enter an email address. When this happens try entering an alternative email address so you can receive the email. If successful, this email address will become your new login. If the problem continues then send us a message stating your problem along with the following information: Your browser type and version (e.g. Internet Explorer v6.0), your operating system (e.g. Windows XP) and version and email account provider (e.g. Hotmail).
  13. How do I make sure that the computer doesn't save my login and password?
    First ensure the checkbox “Remember me on this computer” is not checked. Next you need to remove any saved passwords from your browser. To remove saved passwords:

    In Firefox:

    • Go to “Tools” → “Options” → Select the “Security” tab, and then “Show Passwords...”
    • Select the username you want to delete from the list for the site: http://badoo.com
    • Click “Remove” and then “Close”

    In Internet Explorer:

    • Go to “Tools” → “Internet options” → Select “Content” tab
    • Click “Autocomplete”
    • Click “Clear Passwords” and then “OK”
  14. How do I get the computer to save my email and password?
    Ensure that the tick box “Remember me on this computer” is ticked. Also if your browser displays a message offering to remember your password choose the option to remember your password.
  15. What do I do if I get an “incorrect password” message?
    First make sure your caps lock is off and that you've entered everything correctly. If that's all set, try closing the browser and opening it again or clearing the cache. If it still does not work, click on the Forgot your password? link on the Sign in page and follow the instructions for creating a new password.

Connecting

We feel that Badoo’s greatest strength is connecting people around the world. And the backbone of this is built by our communication features. Make sure you are using them to their fullest capability!

  1. How do I search for people?
    You can search for people in several different ways:
    • Find new people section

      This allows you to find people based on their gender, age, location and whether or not they have uploaded a photo. You can also use the advanced search feature to narrow down your search results even farther.

    • Search only Users online

      Clicking the “Who's online” link shows only users who are currently online.

    • Search only New users

      Clicking the “New” link shows only users who are currently online.

  2. After finding people, how can I add them to my People you know folder?
    In the user’s profile, right next to the green box “Write a message”, you can find the link “Add to Friends”. You can also add a New faces contact to your Friends by going to the Messages section and using the dropdown “Manage contact” menu to the right of the contact and choosing “Add to Friends”.
  3. If I cannot find people, can I invite them to Badoo? How?
    Of course. You can send invites by going to the “Find people you know” link and using several invitation methods. Alternatively, you can either tag people in a photo and send them an email or link, or create a new album and notify them by email. They will then be able to see the updates when they sign up in Badoo!
  4. How do I send someone a message?
    Find the person you want to contact and click the “Write a message” link on his/her profile. This will open the Badoo messenger. Type what you want to say in the text box and press Enter. Downloading the latest Flash player will greatly enhance the Badoo messenger features.
  5. How do I know when I have a new message?
    When you receive a new message, a notification in the form of a message bubble will appear near the top of the page with the number of new messages you have. Click on the bubble to open the Badoo messenger, or click “Messages” to see who has written to you.
  6. How do I read my messages?
    You need to open the Badoo messenger to read your messages. To do this click on the small speech bubble icon, this is located next to the “Messages” link near the top of the page. Alternatively go to the Messages page and click on any of the message links next to your contact names.
  7. I wrote to someone yesterday. How do I find that person again?
    When you write a message to someone, a link to their profile, and your conversation with them, appears on “Messages” page in the New faces folder.
  8. How do I know if someone has received and read my message?
    When you send a message it appears in the messenger window along with your name and time sent. A small hollow circle may also appear next to the message meaning it has not yet been read by the recipient. Once the hollow circle is removed, it means that the other user has read the message.
  9. How do I add a contact?
    Whenever you send or receive a message from a user, they are automatically added to your New faces folder. These contacts are only saved for 30 days, unless you move them to another of your folders before they expire. You can access this and other folders on the Messages page. Alternatively, you can add someone to your Friends folder by visiting their profile and clicking the “Add to Friends” link.
  10. How do I delete a contact?
    Go to Messages. Click on “Manage Contact” next to the user you wish to delete. Then select “Remove from contacts”.
  11. How can I organize my contacts?
    You can create new folders for contacts by clicking “Create new folder...” on the Messages page. You can then move contacts around by clicking the “Manage contact” option next to their photo and selecting the folder in which you wish to place them.
  12. How do I know when one of my contacts is online?
    When a user is online the text “Online now!” will appear on their profile and also his name will be highlighted in green on your contact list.
  13. Can I decide who is allowed to send me messages?
    Yes. Go to the “Privacy” section in Settings and click “Edit”. Then choose who you want to contact you and click “Save changes”.
  14. It says I can't contact someone because of special conditions. What does this mean?
    This means a member has chosen to only receive messages from a certain group of other members, such as “Only members with photos”. In order to contact this person, you must satisfy the conditions they require.
  15. A Badoo user is making me uncomfortable. What can I do?
    Move the user to your “Ignore list” folder and you will no longer receive any message notifications from that user. Also, you can report any abuse by clicking on the “Report abuse” link on the user’s profile.
  16. Can people on my “Ignore list” still write me messages?
    Yes, but you won't receive any notifications that they sent you a message, and they also won’t be able to leave comments on your profile.
  17. How do I complain about a user?
    If you want to complain about a user then please click the “Report abuse” link on their profile and then choose the reason for the complaint and include any extra information to help us rectify the situation.
  18. What do I do if the Badoo messenger window doesn't open?
    When you use the Badoo messenger a new browser window will open. If this window does not appear, turn off any software that blocks pop-up windows and try to open it again.
  19. How do I configure pop-ups for Badoo?
    Firstly, turn off any pop-up blocking software you have installed on your computer or configure it to accept pop-ups from Badoo. Secondly, ensure that your browser has turned off any pop up blocking features. To configure the Pop-up blocker for Badoo:

    In Firefox:

    • Go to “Tools” → “Options” → Select the “Content” tab
    • Ensure that “Block Popup Windows” is ticked
    • Click the “Allowed Sites” button, enter “badoo.com” into the address bar and click “Allow”.
    • Click “Close”

    In Internet Explorer:

    • Go to “Tools” → “Pop-up Blocker” → Select “Pop-up Blocker Settings”
    • Enter the address “badoo.com” into the address bar and then click “Add”
    • Click “Close”
  20. What do I do if I enter the correct word in the “word verification” box and it still doesn't work?
    Please ensure that you enter the characters exactly as they appear, remember to use capital letters where needed. If the problem continues please send us a message stating your problem along with the following information: Your browser type and version (e.g. Internet Explorer v6.0), operating system (e.g. Windows XP) and the name of your Internet provider (e.g. AOL, BT, etc)
  21. Why can’t I delete my messages?
    Only by choosing “Remove from contacts” for a user, can messages from a user be deleted.
  22. Why can’t I change my status?
    Your status is controlled automatically. Once you Sign in your status changes to “Online now!”, if you remain online but don't use the site for a 15 minute period, your status changes to “Idle”. If you Sign out then your status becomes “Offline”.

Profile

Most people's first impression of you will come from your profile page. And you know how important first impressions can be, so...

  1. Who can view your profile?
    It depends on how open you are. In Settings, in the “Privacy” section, there are two options to choose from: “Any user” or “Only Badoo members”. Come on, don´t be shy!
  2. How do I edit my page?
    Click on “Your Profile” and click “Edit” next to whichever section of your profile you want to change. Once you've made your changes click “Save”.
  3. Do I have to answer all of the profile questions?
    No. You can choose to answer as many or as few questions as you want. However, the more information you fill out, the easier it will be for other users to find you with their people searches.
  4. How do I send my profile page link to my friends?
    For your friends to easily find your profile on Badoo, you need to send them your profile address (link), which you can find on the left side of your profile page. You can then easily copy and paste this address into emails, forums, other webpages, etc.
  5. How do I know who visited my page?
    In the Messages section there is a folder called Your visitors. This folder contains a list of all people who have visited your profile, when they did, and a link to their profile pages.
  6. Can I remove people listed in the “Your visitors” folder?
    No, but users are automatically removed from this folder after 1 month.
  7. How do I increase the completion percentage number for my profile?
    This percentage is calculated from how much of your profile has been completed. The more you complete the higher your percentage. So if you want to reach 100% you must answer and fill in every section of your profile. Click here to fill in more of your profile.
  8. How do I change my name on Badoo?
    Go to your profile page and click the “Edit” link for the “Basic” section. Enter a new name and then click the “Save changes” button.
  9. How do I choose a personal profile page address (URL)?
    Go to your profile and click the “Choose address...” link in the “Page Address” section and follow the instructions. Please note that you only have one chance to choose an address, you can't change it again later on.

Albums

Albums are where you can show your world to the world. This is where you can truly let your creativity loose on Badoo. We've given you the latest tools to first present and then share your daily life with people you know and everyone else. Check out this section to learn all about how to create your own albums.

  1. What are albums?
    Your albums section, simply put, is a multimedia log. It consists of all your albums that can contain photos, videos, and text. The purpose of albums is to allow you to share your life and world every day or every week with other users. We have given you all the tools you need, so now you can utilize them however you wish.
  2. How do I create a new album?
    To add a new album, simply click on Create a new album above your albums on your profile page. You will then be brought to a page where you can give the album a title, put some words, and add photos and videos.
  3. What can I do with an album?
    The album feature allows you to write about your experiences, add photos and videos to illustrate it, and then share these albums with the world... or just close friends.
  4. How many photos and videos can I upload?
    You can upload up to 50 photos and videos to each album. However, you can create an unlimited number of albums, so...the power is yours.
  5. What kind of photos and videos can I upload?
    Any photos or videos you upload are subject to our Terms of Use policy, which means no pornographic or other inappropriate content. Oh and please don't steal other users' photos, it's unacceptable and we may be forced to block your account. Photos uploaded to the “Photos of You” section must show a clearly identifiable image of you. So if you upload a group photo or one where you cannot be clearly identified, our moderators will give you a chance to create a new album for the photo or photos. All other photos and videos can be uploaded to any albums that you create.
  6. How do I upload photos and videos to already existing albums?
    Go to Your Profile. Find and select which album you want to add photos or videos to and then click “Add photos and videos”. Choose the photos or videos that you wish to add and then click “Open”. Hint: You can choose more than one photo or video at a time by holding down the “Ctrl” key (“cmd” key for Macs) while choosing your files.
  7. Can I control access to my albums?
    Yes you can. Go to the album you want to control access to and click “Edit album” on the left. Then choose, from the dropdown menu under “Who can view” who you want to be able to view it and click “Save changes”. Note: You cannot change these settings on the default “Photos of You” section.
  8. How do I control who can leave comments on my albums?
    Go to the album you want to control comments for and click “Edit album” on the left. Then choose, from the dropdown menu under “Who can comment”, who you want to be able to leave comments and click “Save changes”.
  9. How do I rename an album?
    Go to the album you wish to rename and click “Edit album” on the left. Then enter the new name at the top and click “Save changes”. Note: You cannot change the name of the default “Photos of You” section.
  10. How do I delete a photo or video?
    Go to the album and simply click the “x” on the top right corner of the photo or video thumbnail you want to delete.
  11. How do I rearrange the photos and videos in an album?
    Go to the album and click and hold down the mouse button on the photo or video thumbnail you want to move. Then you just “drag and drop” the thumbnail like you would any file. Then simply release the mouse button when the thumbnail is in its new position.
  12. How do I delete an album?
    Go to the album you wish to delete and click “Delete” on the left. Then confirm by clicking “Delete” again.
  13. How do I read comments that people have left on my albums?
    Any comments that other users have left on your albums will appear underneath your album.
  14. Can I delete album comments?
    Yes. Click on the “Delete” link next to the comment you wish to remove. You will then also have the chance to add to Ignore list and report a user if you wish.
  15. How are photos and videos moderated?
    All photos and videos are subject to our Terms of Use policy which means no pornographic or other inappropriate content. Oh and please don't steal other user photos and videos, it's unacceptable and we may be forced to block your account. Photos uploaded to the “Photos of You” section must show a clearly identifiable image of you. So if you upload a group photo or one where you cannot be clearly identified our moderators give you a chance to create a new album for the photo or photos. All other photos and videos can be uploaded to any albums that you create.
  16. Why can’t I upload some of my photos and videos?
    For a photo, make sure the format is either GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG or TIFF and its size is less than 5Mb. Also the dimensions of the photo (width and height) must be at least 300 pixels. For a video, make sure that the length is more than 10 seconds, less than 10 minutes, and the size is less than 100Mb.
  17. Why can't I change my main photo?
    By default your highest rated photo in the “Photos of you” section will automatically appear as your main photo. However, if you only have 1 photo in the “Photos of You” section then that photo will become your main photo.
  18. How can I rotate my photos?
    Go to the album and simply click on the rotating arrow symbol on top of the thumbnail of the photo you want to rotate.
  19. What is a Badoo watermark?
    A Badoo watermark is a sophisticated process that prevents unauthorized use of any photography stored on Badoo. It makes it impossible for anyone to copy a photo and upload it back onto the site.
  20. How can I add a Badoo watermark to my photos and videos?
    You can add Badoo watermarks to all your photos by accessing the Privacy section in Settings, and click the button “On”, next to the question “Badoo watermarks on your photos and videos?”. It is that easy!
  21. How can I add another member's album to my profile?
    You can add someone else’s album to your profile only if you have been tagged in that album. If you are, go to the album you wish to add and click the “Add this album” link on the left side of the page. This is a great way of having those photos and moments with your friends added to your profile as well. So go start adding!

Tagging

  1. What is tagging?
    On Badoo you can easily tag people. You can add tags to a photo or video if you recognize a person that you know in it. This will allow everybody else to easily know who they are looking at. You can tag whoever you want and if the person that you tag is already your friend, the tag will also become a link to their profile. If you tag someone that is not on Badoo yet, you can insert their name and email and we will send them an email with that photo and a link to your album so that they can easily come and visit it.
  2. Why tag?
    Tagging is a great way to make yourself and your friends known to other people on Badoo. For example, if a friend of a friend is looking at pictures in which you are also present they might think that you are very interesting and come and visit your profile. Imagine you went to a party and did not have a camera, but your friends created some albums with stunning photos of you...if you are tagged in that photo your friends will be able to see those shots on your profile too! So, remember that the more you tag and you get tagged, the more your presence expands across the network!
  3. How can I tag a person?
    Tagging people is easy, simply click on any photo in an album and if the owner has enabled anyone for tagging, on the left of the photo you will see a “Tag People” link. To tag someone you know you will then simply have to click that link and then drag and crop the box that appeared, over a person's face in the photo and then select their name in the box that appears. If the name of your friend is not there, you can insert an email address and we will send them an email to see that photo. Don't forget to click on the “Save Tag” button when you are done! Remember: if you tag someone, that photo will then appear in their “Photos of You”, so they will also have to approve the tag before the process is complete.
  4. Can I tag someone who is not registered on Badoo?
    You can tag whoever you wish. As you type the name of someone you just tagged, you will see a list of your friends, if their name is not on that list you will then be given the option of listing their name and email address. When you are done tagging, they will automatically receive an email linking to the photo!
  5. What happens when I tag people in my albums?
    When you tag a friend that is already on Badoo, in a photo from one of your albums, they will simply receive an alert in their Home page. From there they will be able to see the photo and accept or refuse the tag. By accepting, the photo will then also be visible in their “Photos of You” section. If at the time of tagging, you cannot see the name of your friend in the list, you will be able to type the name and email of that person. We will automatically send them an email to show the photo you just tagged.
  6. Where can I see who has tagged me?
    By clicking on the “Friends” button, you will be able to see all your recent updates. Whenever a friend creates a new album, you will automatically receive an update on your “Friends” page.
  7. How can I remove a tag?
    It's simple to remove a tag from a photo: find the tag of yourself that you want to remove, then simply hover the mouse over the tag itself and a little X button will appear in the top right corner of the tag box. Clicking that X will prompt a confirmation request, at this point simply confirm that you want to delete it.
  8. Who can tag me?
    You can easily choose who will be able to tag you in photos. Simply go to your Settings in the top right of your profile. There amongst the “Privacy” settings, you will be able to select what contacts are allowed to tag you in their and your photos. You can also select many other options to keep your privacy safe.
  9. Who can tag people in my photos?
    You can easily choose who will be able to tag your friends in your photos and videos. Simply go to your Settings in the top right of your profile. There amongst the “Privacy” settings, you will be able to select what contacts are allowed to tag you and your friends in your photos and videos. You can also select many other privacy options.
  10. Can I add a tagged group photo to my “Photos of You”?
    “Photos of You” will automatically contain all the photos and videos in which you have been tagged by yourself or others. This means that you can easily display group photos, even if they are with lots of other friends, because it will be easy for others to tell who you are thanks to tags!

People you know updates

  1. What is an Update?
    An update is a message that you receive on your Home page. There you can have a look to what the people you know have been up to lately: new connections, new albums, new photos tagged, events, etc.
  2. How can I get updates from People I know?
    Once you add a person to the People you know on Badoo, you automatically receive updates from this person.
  3. Can I get an update about someone’s birthday?
    Yes, you will automatically receive update about People you know birthdays on your Home page.

Vote on photos

This feature allows all the members of our site to rate each other. And who doesn’t want to know where they stand? Right?

  1. Where can I vote?
    Simply click on “Vote on photos” at the top of all pages.
  2. Who has rated my photos?
    To see who's rated your photos go to the Messages page and check the Your voters folder. This folder lists every user that has rated any of your photos along with the score they gave you.
  3. Why have I not received a rating yet?
    You will receive a rating for your photo roughly 10 or 15 minutes after it is added. Your first photo will be rated and then you must rate 50 photos to enter each of your additional photos into the ratings.
  4. Why is no one rating my photos?
    To keep your rating high make sure you keep rating other people's photos. The more you rate the more people will rate your photos and hopefully your rating will go up!
  5. Why can't I rate photos from my country?
    By default, you first rate photos from users in your country. If you have rated all photos from your country then Badoo will display photos from a different country for you to rate.

I want…

The Today I want function, allows you to let all users know what you’d like to do today. It is great way to find cool people to join you in whatever activity you have planned.

  1. What is “Today I want…”?
    “Today I want…” is an optional feature you can use to let other Badoo users know what you wish to do today. We have provided you with some ideas to choose from but you’re also able to create your own and let everyone know what you want to do today!

    It will be displayed next to your main photo when you search in the “Find new people” section and on your profile.

  2. Where is “Today I want…”?
    Anytime you visit any of these sections: Home page, Find new people, Messages or your main profile, you’ll see a box to the right “Today I want…”. After you have selected what you want to do today, be sure to click on “Tell everyone” to save your changes.

Rise Up

Rise Up is definitely one of the most innovative and useful features on our site. It makes Badoo completely dynamic and allows each user to directly and instantly attract more attention. This could be a very important feature for you, so make sure you understand exactly how it works.

  1. What is Rise Up?
    “Rise Up” is an optional feature that places your profile to the top of the search listings.
  2. Where is the Rise Up link?
    To Rise Up, go to your Home or profile page, and to the left you can see “Your stats” and below you will see the link “Raise your profile up to 1st place!”.
  3. Why would I use Rise Up?
    “Rise Up” is a great way to get more attention to your profile. As more and more people join Badoo or use the “Rise Up” feature, your profile becomes lower in the search listings. So if you're at position number 51,432 it's probably no wonder that no one has messaged you recently. To get your profile noticed again, use “Rise Up” and you'll be back at number 1 within 5 minutes.
  4. How much does it cost?
    The cost is 1 euro/dollar/pound (depending on the country). (Rise Up is free in some markets.)
  5. How can I pay for the Rise Up service?
    To pay for “Rise Up” you need to send a message to a special number using your mobile phone. The instructions can be found on the “Rise Up” page.
  6. My phone service provider is not listed. Can I still use Rise Up?
    Currently it's only possible to use this feature with the mobile operators listed on the “Rise Up” page. However, you can ask a friend who has an account with the operators listed to send a “Rise Up” message for you. You just need to provide your friend with the message and number found on the “Rise Up” page.
  7. How long does it take to Rise Up?
    After sending the “Rise Up” message you will receive a confirmation to your mobile phone that we received your message and that your profile is on its way to the top. Once you receive the confirmation message your profile will be at position number 1 within 5 minutes.
  8. Will I be charged if I get an error message?
    No. Only “Rise Up” messages that have been confirmed will be charged.

The Spotlight

The Spotlight is a great premium feature that allows you to be instantly seen by millions of people in your area. If you are looking to meet new people and gain attention, this is the perfect way to do it.

  1. How do I appear in the Spotlight?
    To appear in the Spotlight, you need to click on the "Put me here!" link to the left of the Spotlight. Then you choose the photo of yourself that you want displayed, and can add an optional greeting to other members. The next step involves using your mobile phone to send a specified text message to a special short number listed to activate the feature and be displayed in the Spotlight. Remember that you can only utilize this feature by using your mobile phone and if you have one of the supported mobile operators. When in the Spotlight, your photo and greeting are displayed to everyone in your region (millions of members). As time passes and more members enter the Spotlight, your photo will slowly move from the left of the Spotlight to the right, and then will be pushed off completely. All you need to do then is resend the specified text message, and you will be instantly back in the Spotlight again.

Gifts

Gifts are a sweet way to gain attention and make someone’s day just a little bit brighter.

  1. What is a Gift?
    A “Gift” is an optional feature that you can use to send any user a sign of your friendship or admiration. This gift will be displayed on the user’s main profile page. We have a wide and cool variety of gifts for you to choose!
  2. Can I remove a gift that’s been sent to me?
    The gift will be displayed on your profile for 30 days. After this period it will be automatically removed.
  3. Where is the link to send a “Gift”?
    Just go to the user’s profile to whom you wish to send a gift. Below that user’s name there’s a pink tag “Send a gift”, click on it and follow the instructions. (Available only in certain countries)

Unlimited Messages

We don't like spam on our site. That is why we have created this feature on Badoo. By limiting new contacts per day, we hope to improve the site experience for all our users.

  1. What are Unlimited Messages?
    When you contact new users on the Badoo messenger, you have a limit of 20 new contacts per day. However if you want to contact 20 more you must send a premium text message.
  2. How much does it cost?
    The cost is 1 euro/dollar/pound. (not available in some countries)
  3. How do I pay for the Unlimited Messages service?
    To pay for "Unlimited Messages" you need to send a message to a special number using your mobile phone. Once you have contacted 20 new users the instructions will appear in your Badoo messenger.
  4. My phone service provider is not listed. Can I still use the Unlimited Messages service?
    Currently it's only possible to use this feature with the mobile operators listed on the "Unlimited Messages" instructions. However, you can ask a friend who has an account with the operators listed to send an "Unlimited Messages" sms for you. You just need to provide your friend with the message and number found on the "Unlimited Messages" instructions.
  5. Will I be charged if I get an error message?
    No. Only "Unlimited Messages" sms’ that have been confirmed will be charged.
