6. Think of ways you can display your education and qualifications.
- Include your gradation portrait or diploma pictures/ certificates
- If you are not academic consider including scanned highlights from past school reports they might
help to summarise your positive characteristics or perhaps provide a funny anecdote
- Mention if you went to a famous or unusual school
- Include details of any well known alumni from your school or University
7. Potential employers will be interested in where you currently work and your role so at the very least ensure you include up front details about your current position and place of work. Consider including a video entry which brings to life what you do on a daily basis – this is especially handy if the name of your employer is not immediately recognised
8. Make sure your information is laid out as clearly as possible, which will minimise any distractions the employer will have when reading through your profile – consider removing unnecessary applications from your page
9. Check the language you’ve used throughout your profile to ensure it is clear, typo-free and not completely written in slang or text speak
10. Think about how often you update your profile. No employer wants to see a potential staff member checking their profile throughout the day when they are supposed to be working. Similarly make sure your profile is not months out of date
